The International Cultural Center hosted an Interfaith Potluck Iftar and a Back to School Kit project for the Stepping Stones Shelter on Friday, August 3, 2012. What a beautiful service-oriented evening. Community members donated the supplies and helped pack each kit for children who were in need of the supplies. Afterwards, we shared a warm potluck dinner and took turns explaining what were thankful for during the month of Ramadan (Islamic month of fasting). Our friends from Capitol Area Interfaith Friends (CAIF) joined us and brought lots of friendly faces.
