Youth Against Hunger November 12, 2011

On November 12th 2011, the International Cultural Center continued the monthly community service project to make a total of 2011 sandwiches this year for local shelters in the greater Washington, DC area.


The event, entitled “Youth Against Hunger,” was attended by youth and adults representing the world’s religions with Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists breaking bread….and making sandwiches to be distributed by the Center to Interfaith Works Homeless Services at Montgomery County, Maryland.
